Tina & Alexander chose our beautiful island, Crete for their orthodox wedding.
The Big Day started with lots of fun at the couple’s accommodations. The bride is coming from Lebanon, so her room was full of tasty Lebanese treats – you should taste some!
The ceremony took place in the yard of an amazing stone building chapel, more than 500 years old. Such a historical ceremony venue for a wedding. What you may not have imagined is that this church is at a secret location which you can find only if you are a real explorer… or a wedding planner.
During the wedding ceremony, the only things you could hear were the holy words of the priest and the birds singing.
After the ceremony, we never forget the “rice throwing” moment, which is one of our favorite moments for a photo. This is a lovely Greek tradition and symbolizes good luck and fertility for the bridal couple.
Let’s go to the reception!
Our couple chose an olive grove estate at Chania for their wedding reception. The tables and dancefloor were surrounded by Cretan olive trees – how beautiful is that? This wedding estate was the best venue option they could choose for their rustic wedding in Crete.
The decoration was inspired by the Cretan nature… seasonal flowers and a beautiful set up in rustic style.
The party stayed until 4 o’clock in the morning and we can’t say that we estimated something earlier as everyone was dancing and enjoying every moment.
The Cretan dancers stole the show and made everyone dance sirtaki-Zorbas like a Greek. If you are looking for entertainment for your wedding… trust us, this is what you need!
Last but not least, we must mention how much we loved the traditional dances of our Lebanese bride and the guests.
This wedding party will always stay in our minds!
