Where experience meets new ideas
Born and raised in Athens, Eleni never fails to visit Greece’s capital city to look for the best products and materials in terms of quality and originality for our weddings. She has been planning each wedding, drawing inspiration from her travels to beautiful hideaways in Greece and in cities abroad.
After finishing her bachelor degree in Interior Architecture and Art History, Eleni realised how much she wanted to hitch event decoration one step up, as compared to what existed on Crete until then. She has a master class florist and designer diploma.
Eleni entered the area of wedding planning 25 years ago, with remarkable projects and distinctions in her resume. She has co-operated with many Municipalities on the island of Crete to plan and decorate big events and group Chinese weddings. For ten years, Eleni was the host of television shows on how to decorate your space with recyclable and natural materials. She has been professionally engaged in decorating select business premises and designing one-of-a-kind handmade wedding and christening items for 25 years. Works of hers are exhibited at the gallery of “Greek handcrafted creations” of the Hellenic Organisation of Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (in Greek EOMMEX). She has also had 3 exhibitions at Giali Tzamisi mosque at Chania’s Venetian Port, under the auspices of the Prefecture of Chania supported by the Municipality of Chania.
Her biggest love however is planning destination weddings. She loves to make young couples’ dreams for a memorable wedding in Crete, Athens or Santorini come true.
For two consecutive years, she has been awarded the European nominations of “Destination Wedding Expert of the Year” and “Wedding Specialist of the Year” by Luxury Travel Guide, a British publishing house.
At her atelier in Verekinthos Arts & Crafts Village, she has been making handmade wedding wreathes and wedding accessories, decorations for galas and weddings in Crete, Athens, Santorini and on the Greek islands. She sells her handmade creations in retail and wholesale through her 3 websites and exhibitions in Greece and abroad.
Born and raised on the island of Crete, Eirini has an insider knowledge of the island’s most beautiful parts. Rightfully considered to be our team’s little scout, she will find the best venue for any event on Crete.
Eirini loves travelling, often combining business with pleasure and never missing on the chance to visit big wedding exhibitions and galleries as a source of inspiration.
She studied Finance and Digital Marketing at the University of Athens, Event Planning, and has complemented her curriculum with business studies in a London college.
She has been working in the area of wedding planning ever since she was young, having become today a key member of the WEDDING IN CRETE team, in matters of planning and communication.
